Glad for your weekend away with the Siestas. I'm sure a great time was had by all, and the music...

I can only imagine how great that must have been. Also, anytime you want to bake me some homemade bread, it's on girl. I'll even come for pickup...well, that's a stretch.

peace to you this week~elaine

Okay, this is almost whacky. I am SO with you on #s 7, 8 (but she's passed away), 9 (but slightly different states), 20, 24 (without the desire for seminary), and 25. And even #22. I don't have kids yet ... but I think that's me.

Fun knowing you! :)

Hi,
I saw you were following my blog and wanted to come say "hi". I'm glad I did. Please do not live with regret over not being with your dad when he passed. God's timing is perfect.
I have learned that regret is my enemy. It keeps me from being totally surrendered to God's perfect will--whatever it is. Regret is that little something that tugs at your heart and says in a whisper, "God really can't be trusted in all things."

Please be assured that if you were supposed to have been with your dad when he went home to be with the Lord, you would have been. Nothing happens in a Christian's life by accident. You were with him when he needed you most, and then the Lord took over. Whether you understand why it happened that way is immaterial. God knows why. It is enough.
